Yoga for Pregnancy with Vicki Abrams

MONDAYS 4:00 - 5:15pm

Prepare your body for birth and motherhood and relief the aches & pains related to pregnancy through gentle postures and stretches in a nurturing and safe environment.  Taught by Vicki Abrams, RYT, IBCLC, co-author with Deepak Chopra of "Magical Beginnings, Enchanted Lives," a senior Yoga teacher, childbirth educator, doula, & lactation consultant and mother of four children, this class allows moms-to-be to connect with each other and with their babies.

  • No prior Yoga experience necessary, all levels welcome!
  • Pre-registration is not required, just come 10-15minutes before class starts. We also carry mats. Drop ins $18, discounted class series are available that can be used for all classes.
  • We recommend joining this class after your first trimester. And, as with any exercise during pregnancy, please consult your doctor that it is safe for you to practice Yoga.

Vicki is a Childbirth Educator, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Yoga Instructor and the Director of the Childbirth Education Program at the Chopra Center for Well Being in La Costa.  She has over twenty years of experience supporting women through pregnancy, birth and parenthood.
